Doug was born and raised in Northweat, Florida. After high school graduation in 2009, he joined Navy and received his bachelor’s degree in history from the U.S. Naval Academy. Due to the vaccine mandates during Covid and the politicized nature of the military under the Biden administration, he left the Navy as a Lieutenant.
Doug has participated in multiple startups and serves as the National Sales Director for F3 Defense, which develops and manufactures patented, non-lethal, protection for individuals, law enforcement, and long-haul drivers with a protective vehicle-mounted system.
Doug is a board member of the American Legion, AMVETS. His other noteworthy accomplishments include serving as the Deputy Staff Logistics Officer for all Navy training, education, and recruiting commands worldwide. Directly managing $2.6B in assets. He developed and executed a plan to evacuate all military students from the Pensacola area to the Marine Logistics Base in Albany Georgia. Serving on the USS IWO JIMA Dough was recognized as the top Supply Officer for retail operations. He also served as the lead Supply Officer in response to Hurricane Irma.
Doug has spent much of the last year serving the people of Northwest Florida and has currently taken a sabbatical from work to ensure he is fully engaged in listening to his future constitutes. ***Watch Video:The Thornton Review Show Doug Chico
