Dr. Trei McMullen, Candidate for Florida State Representative, District 2 (Republican). Founder and Chief Executive Officer of SYOTOS LLC. Host: Pueschel Schneier, Manager and Executive Producer, The Thornton Review Show.
Dr. McMullen is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of SYOTOS LLC, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) specializing in security services with a national reach. At 37 years old, he brings 19 years of experience and an extensive list of professional and academic accolades. Dr. McMullen blends his civilian expertise with the knowledge gained from a distinguished career in the United States Army. He began his military career as a Military Policeman and concluded his tenure with the 2nd Battalion; 7th Special Forces Group as a Senior Counterintelligence (CI) Agent.
Under Dr. McMullen’s leadership, SYOTOS has evolved from a small local security provider into a multi-state organization with capabilities spanning security, technology, education, and health. He has been responsible for protecting some of the most prominent names across various industries and organizations. On multiple occasions, he has provided comprehensive venue security for events exceeding 100,000 attendees, all with zero incidents or reported damage. SYOTOS safeguards numerous condominiums, gated communities, and venues year-round. The company earned the trust of the U.S. government when it was awarded a federal contract by FEMA for Hurricane Michael, during which SYOTOS employed over 130 teammates and protected more than $300 million in assets and personnel. Additionally, SYOTOS was selected to provide GOP protection detail for all Florida locations during the 2020 election.
Under this contract, Dr. McMullen was responsible for staffing and managing a force of more than 130 personnel. He prides himself on fostering a culture of teamwork rather than traditional employment, adhering to the mantra: “Never Above You, Never Below You, Always Beside You.” SYOTOS is also routinely called upon as a liaison between the Department of Defense and the private sector, assisting international corporations in sourcing qualified personnel for deployment into high-risk regions worldwide.
Merging modern technology with established industry standards, Dr. McMullen has built an interconnected ecosystem. This includes, along with SYOTOS LLC:
• SYOTOS Technology, which bridges the gap between technology and security by offering
best-in-class security solutions, with its first pillar being rideshare.
• SYOTOS Health, a HIPAA-compliant telemedicine platform that integrates all fitness and wellness needs into a single system.
• SYOTOS Edge, a learning management system (LMS) providing career advancement
opportunities in the technology sector, offering certifications, internships, and community-based initiatives, including a dedicated prayer request feature.
• SYOTOS Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting families in impoverished communities, offering grants to for-profit businesses that focus on community impact, and sponsoring educational and entrepreneurial initiatives through
Syotos Edge Board Room Grants and others. The foundation also manages the Military Installation Program (MIP), which partners with SYOTOS Technology to provide secured
EV rideshare services on military installations.
Dr. McMullen upholds high standards, ensuring that all teammates under his leadership consistently exceed expectations. His operational philosophy, professional ethics, and organizational values—shaped by his military and civilian experiences—serve as the foundation of his leadership approach.
