James Fishback is a Republican candidate for Governor of Florida in the 2026 election. James Fishback was born January 1,1995 in Davie Florida. He attended public schools in Broward County where he participated in his high school debate team. James studied international economics at Georgetown University, Washington DC.
In 2019 he founded Incubate Debate, a debate league that provides tournaments and training for middle and high school students. James has worked as a financial manager and investor with a background in macro investing. He founded Azoria Partners, which launched ETFs designed to track the S&P 500. James describes himself as a conservative and has cited Theodore Roosevelt and Pat Buchanan as his political inspirations. He is running on a MAGA and America First platform, focusing on immigration, affordability, and opposing “woke” policies.
